Veterans Health Administration Awards 508 Contract to BayFirst

BayFirst Solutions has been awarded a Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Section 508 contract to develop and implement sound section 508 policies, update and monitor procurement processes, prepare for DOJ and OMB E-Gov and Section 508 reporting obligations, assess Section 508 conformance of specific products, remediate existing websites, train agency personnel and contractors, survey and assess agency needs, and manage programs for the VHA. The value of this five-year contract is approximately $1.16 million.

The Veterans Healthcare System is an organization within the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) which serves the needs of America's veterans by providing primary care, specialized care, and related medical and social support services. The VA health care system includes 154 medical centers and more than 1,300 sites of care. More than 5.3 million people received care in VA health care facilities in 2005.

BayFirst to Develop E-Learning for Defense Commissary Agency
March 15, 2006

BayFirst Solutions has been awarded a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) contract to provide a total e-learning solution to meet their worldwide training needs. Specifically, BayFirst will provide in-depth analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of existing and new training curriculum creating a blended learning solution for DeCA. This is a 3-year contract with an estimated total value of $750,000.

DeCA, headquartered in Fort Lee, Virginia, operates a system of more than 280 commissaries employing over 17,000 people. The commissaries, which provide groceries and household products to military personnel, are located throughout the United States and abroad in 16 countries.

All courseware will also be compliant with standards including SCORM and Section 508.
