A major Federal organization has tasked BayFirst to assist the senior-most staff in mapping out an internal strategy for realigning lines of business against a new headquarters driven management paradigm. BayFirst was selected because of the experience of its senior staff and the insight they bring to bear toward retaining program integrity during and after the transition.

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced the award of a task order to provide Section 508 policy development support and training to acquisition personnel, their clients and industry partners.

GSA’s IT Solutions Shop program awarded the task to BayFirst Solutions LLC through an open-market contract. Under the terms of the contract, BayFirst will provide training on the acquisitions impact and implications of Section 508, new Federal legislation requiring all departments and agencies to procure technology that is accessible to people with disabilities.

GSA is a centralized federal procurement and property management agency created by Congress to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve the public. It acquires, on behalf of federal agencies, office space, equipment, telecommunications, information technology, supplies and services. GSA, comprised of 14,000 associates, provides services and solutions for the office operations of over 1 million federal workers located in 8,300 government-owned and leased buildings in 1,600 U.S. communities.

BayFirst Solutions has been awarded a Federal Supply Service IT Schedule contract. Under the terms of the contract, Federal agencies can obtain IT consulting support from BayFirst. The contract has 10 labor categories that cover the full range of government IT needs from junior level technologists to senior management Practioners. The contract runs through May 2008.

The Federal Technology Service, Heartland Region, has awarded a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) to BayFirst to provide the Heartland Region senior management team the opportunity to work with BayFirst on key IT program strategy issues.

For BayFirst he has key roles in overseeing the execution of client assignments and managing the day-to-day business of the company. As a former partner and vice president of Booz Allen Hamilton, one of the world’s top management and technology consulting firms, Elliot has had central roles winning, organizing and leading large-scale, complex assignments in information technology, telecommunications, healthcare, and national election process reform. He serves on the Board of Associates at Gallaudet University and the Board of Directors of the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange. He holds a Bachelor Degree from Wittenberg University and a Master Degree from Ohio University.
